We’ll be back with more news soon, so until then – ROCK ON!

Hey All,

Welcome to 2012.

Over the summer break we have been flat out working on the next record which is shaping up to be a real corker! You may have also noticed that we were out on the road with none other than Wolfmother in December which was mind blowing!

But the big news is that the film clip for White Light has dropped right here and now! Check it out! Massive word to Wade Crighton who was the Director on the project and kicked arse all the way. We love your work Wade.

And to celebrate, we are offering you, our trusty fans White Light for free. Simply join the mailing list at the top of the page and it will be yours forever.

We are also super stoked to be called up to support the South African post grunge legends Seether for their Sydney and Brisbane dates of their upcoming tour.

Feb 5 – Metro Theatre, Sydney supporting Seether
Feb 7 – The Hi Fi, Brisbane supporting Seether

That brings us up to date. We’ll be heading back to the studio in January but stay tuned for another new track coming your way very very soon!

Peace out

Hey all! Just a quick upade to let you all know that our White Light tour hits Melbourne this weekend, but in the meantime we have been hijacked by this little band called Wolfmother, who we are now touring with. That’s right… WOLFMOTHERRRRRRR!!!!

We had the pleasure of sharing the stage with these guys last weekend in Toowoomba, which we definitely saw some of you dudes at. Anyway turns out they liked what they saw and so here we are… 7 dates of regional madness starting this week. Check out the tour dates on the tours page.

And for you Melbournites, don’t forget we are heading your way this weekend to play House of Rock at The Palace. So hope you can make it along. We’ll be on at 10:15pm.

We have also been fine tuning the film clip to White Light which will be heading your way really soon. Check out the photos taken form the set below.

Speak soon dudes! Peace!

Dave, Rob and Henno

Eskimo Joe tour wrap up, recording finished, plus new unplugged show

Here goes with another update for you guys.

Eskimo Joe tour
We just got back from a run up to North QLD with Eskimo Joe. We did what most bands wouldn’t dare and that is drive from Brisbane to Mackay, starting at 7pm and driving through the night for 13hrs straight. It sure helps having a few night owls in the band. We played Mackay, Airlie Beach, Townsville and Bundaberg. Awesome fun had by all.

Check out these awesome pics by Bundaberg local Renee Eloise

Recording finished
As you know we’ve been busy getting some new music your way and after a few long nights, and early mornings, we’re almost there. The recording is finished and is now off to be mixed by our long-time collaborator Jeff Lovejoy to work his magic.

Stay tuned for more news

Numbers Radio June News

Hey All,

So it has been a busy few months having just wrapped up some awesome tours. Big thanks to Jebediah, Trial Kennedy, Violent Soho, The Mission In Motion and Airbourne for having us on the road with them.

As we’ve mentioned recently we’re in the studio working on the next album and that is pretty much where you will find us over the coming months. We’ve got some awesome stuff in the pipeline that we’re really excited about so stay tuned.

New Live Footage
This month we’d like to leave you with the intro to a recent set and extended version of ‘Come On’ shot at The Annandale a few weeks ago.

Numbers Radio May News

We are writing this as we drag our tired and sore bodies back home after a very solid run supporting Trial Kennedy through NSW last weekend. Man, they are not only one hell of an amazing rock band (seriously), but also a bunch of outstanding lads as well. We’ve had a blast so far, and The Annandale show was one of the best to date by both bands. A big thanks from Numbers Radio.

And this weekend we get to do it all again. First up is the Zoo in Brisbane this Friday night followed by the Miami Shark Bar on the Gold Coast. Tickets are on the door or via Oztix and who knows, you might even hear a taste of some of the new Numbers Radio material.

That’s right, aside from racking up a lot of miles in the Tarago, we’ve been busy working on new material for our forth-coming album. We aren’t sure exactly when we’ll be releasing it, but expect to hear a few newies amongst the set in the coming months.

Airbourne Support
Just when you thought the local support shows couldn’t get much better, we then find ourselves on the Airbourne bill. Get set for some serious fist pumping action. Numbers Radio are opening so get in early.

If you are not totally across these guys well shame on you. But they’re a bunch of young dudes from Melbourne how are smashing it all over the globe.

Numbers Radio April News

Ok, sure we’re a little late getting this one out to you! But we got there in the end. We think it is because we’re still recovering from that hectic Victorian run a few weeks back. Thanks to all the peeps that made it out to The Espy, Sounds Loud Festival, Pony and Homegrown Festival. It was a rocking time!
